A red-headed Mickey Rourke was seen leaving a pizza shop in Los Angeles after being evicted from his rented home in Beverly Grove. According to Page Six, the actor was spotted wearing dark shades, a cowboy-style shirt, and jeans as he exited Mulberry Street Pizzeria in Beverly Hills.
An eviction notice was discovered taped to the door of Rourke’s former residence on Drexel Avenue, which he lost this week.
Court documents revealed that the Oscar nominee’s former home is now back in the possession of its landlord, Eric T. Goldie.
A default judgement was filed on Monday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, indicating that the “Iron Man 2” actor likely did not appear in court to defend himself or respond to the complaint before the deadline.
In December, a court filing demanded that Rourke either vacate the property within three days or pay $59,100 in overdue rent.
In January, Rourke was seen removing his belongings from the house, with a U-Haul truck appearing in the driveway the following day. During that time, he was staying at a luxury hotel in West Hollywood, with room rates starting at $550 per night.
Known for his roles in “Heaven’s Gate,” “Body Heat,” and “Diner” in the early 1980s, Rourke gained fame as one of Hollywood’s most intense leading men with films like “9½ Weeks,” “Angel Heart,” “Barfly,” and “The Pope of Greenwich Village.”
In recent years, the actor has maintained a lower profile. He recently appeared in the sports romantic comedy “The Roaring Game” and the parody film “Not Another Church Movie.”
