This event occurred amid heightened media interest in the family of the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end. On March 7, TMZ reported that Donna Kelce was renovating her Florida home, based on public permit records.
The renovations reportedly include replacing nine windows and six doors at her two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo.
During the Wednesday episode of the “New Heights” podcast, Jason Kelce humorously remarked that TMZ was portraying the renovation as if Donna was constructing a “gilded palace.”
Donna explained on the same podcast episode that the renovations aim to combat Florida’s humidity by installing energy-efficient windows, thus reducing air conditioning costs.
The story gained such traction that even the Empire State Building’s official X account commented.
“Congrats to Donna Kelce on remodeling her modest Florida home!” the admin wrote on March 9.
According to Realtor.com, Donna purchased the condo in the Baldwin Park neighborhood of Orlando, Florida, in 2019 for $355,000.

In a clip from the “Not Gonna Lie” podcast released on Wednesday, Kylie Kelce humorously addressed the news of Donna Kelce’s home renovation.
“So shocking and groundbreaking,” she began.
Kylie mentioned that she was aware of the plans to install new windows during a recent visit to Donna’s home.
She found the reported upgrades amusing, noting, “The article actually revealed that she got nine windows and six doors replaced,” adding, “I don’t know that she has six doors in her house.”
Kylie then playfully speculated about the renovation details.
“I might want to check in with Donna because sometimes you just got to go straight to the source,” she said. “I would love to know if there’s sliders going in, maybe some French doors. I wonder if there’s screens on the doors to get a nice through breeze, a little crosswind through the house. Maybe a bay window. That would be exciting.”
Jason Kelce and Kylie married in April 2018 and have four daughters together.
