The New York City police are on the lookout for two individuals suspected of throwing Molotov cocktails into a Staten Island home on Wednesday night. Fortunately, these explosives did not ignite a fire.
According to police, the suspects arrived in a dark-colored, two-door sedan outside the residence on Roma Avenue in New Dorp around 9:30 p.m. They allegedly tossed three homemade incendiary devices through a front window before quickly driving away.
Despite the potential danger, the Molotov cocktails did not cause a fire, and there were no injuries or damage reported apart from broken glass, according to the police.Â
As of now, no arrests have been made, and the motive behind the attack is still being investigated.
