The MPL Season 17 is divided into two stages: the Regular Season and the Playoffs. The Regular Season will run from March 20 to May 17, featuring a double-round robin format with eight teams. The top six teams will advance to the Playoffs, while the bottom two will be eliminated from the competition.
The Playoffs are set to take place from May 27 to 31, organized in a hybrid elimination bracket. Six teams will compete for the championship, with the Grand Final and Semifinals played in a Best-of-Seven (Bo7) format, and the remaining matches in a Best-of-Five (Bo5) format.

The Regular Season will span eight weeks, with each team playing 14 matches. The opening match will feature Team Liquid against Aurora PH on Friday, March 20.

The MPL Philippines S17 Regular Season games will be held at the Victoria Sports Tower in Quezon City. Fans can also catch the action live on MLBB Esports’ YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok channels from 1:40 pm IST.
Team Liquid has emerged victorious in the last two MPL Philippines seasons and secured the MSC 2025 title. The team also finished fourth in the M7 World Championship, highlighting their strong performance last year. They aim for a third consecutive title in Season 17.
Aurora Gaming secured second place in MPL Philippines Season 16 and delivered impressive performances at the M7 World Championship, where they won the prestigious trophy. The team has retained its roster for this season. Omega Esports and AP.Bren, who did not qualify for the Playoffs in the previous season, are hoping for a better outcome in this edition.
