Following his hospitalization, it was reported that Chuck Norris was in good spirits. Nonetheless, his family announced his passing in a statement on Instagram on March 20.
“With deep sorrow, our family announces the unexpected loss of our cherished Chuck Norris yesterday morning. Although we wish to keep the details confidential, we want you to know he was surrounded by family and was at peace. To the world, he was a martial artist, actor, and a symbol of strength. To us, he was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, an incredible brother, and the heart of our family,” stated the message.
His grieving family further expressed, “He lived with faith, purpose, and an unwavering dedication to those he loved. Through his work, discipline, and kindness, he inspired millions globally and left a lasting impact on countless lives. Our hearts are broken, yet we are profoundly grateful for the life he lived and the unforgettable moments shared with him. The support and love he received from fans worldwide meant a great deal to him, and our family is truly thankful. To him, you were more than fans; you were friends. We appreciate the prayers and support during his recent hospitalization.”
