First Lady Melania Trump has given a sneak peek into the 2026 White House Easter Egg Roll, unveiling an expanded array of activities scheduled for the South Lawn on Monday, April 6, 2026. As part of America’s 250th birthday celebrations, this year’s event will embrace a patriotic theme to unite families in celebrating Easter and the enduring values of liberty central to the American narrative.
In addition to the traditional Egg Roll and Egg Hunt, a sensory-friendly Egg Hunt will be available, all using real eggs supplied by the American Egg Board, the main sponsor. Thanks to numerous collaborations with the White House Historical Association and other partners, children and families can look forward to a day filled with fun, learning, and memorable experiences through a variety of exciting activities, such as:
- Be Best Military Card Writing Station, where children can send thank you notes to American troops
- Be Best Ring Toss for energetic young participants
- EGG-spedition, an educational game matching US states and territories, sponsored by the American Egg Board
- Lunar Exploration Experience, provided by NASA
