Angel Reese is no stranger to the power of manifestation. On Tuesday, the 23-year-old WNBA sensation unveiled a teaser of her upcoming collaboration with Victoriaâs Secret in New York City, showcasing a chic new hairstyle: a curly pixie cut.
The creative touch of hairstylist Dionte Gray, also known as Arrogant Tae, gave Reese a 1920s-inspired layered style for the event. Reese captioned the look âBetty Booâ on Instagram. Stylists Matthew and Reginald Reisman, collectively known as The Reismans, complemented the vintage aesthetic with a LaQuan Smith houndstooth blazer. Meanwhile, makeup artist Latisha Chancey chose bold brows and a striking light-pink blush. Reese and Chancey’s collaboration is particularly meaningful, as they had previously teamed up for her Victoriaâs Secret Fashion Show debut in 2025.
In a behind-the-scenes video shared on Victoria’s Secret’s Instagram, Reese expressed, âI really manifested this.â Her affinity for fashion and beauty has been longstanding. Reflecting on her childhood, she told Vogue, âI was always in my momâs closet, putting on her stuff. I liked to carry a purse. Hair done. I wanted to look put together. I still do.â
