A subway passenger, resembling “Succession” star Brian Cox, allegedly threatened another rider with a gun after they exchanged insults, according to police and the victim on Wednesday.

Christopher Sallas, 20, was taken aback when the man, a lookalike of the Scottish actor, confronted him on a Q train while he was returning from a concert late last month. Sallas told The Post he noted the resemblance.

“It was somewhat amusing at the time. But once the adrenaline faded, I started processing what had happened,” Sallas said.

The older train passenger could easily double for 79-year-old Cox, complete with a white goatee, who portrayed a ruthless media mogul on the HBO series, as seen in surveillance footage.

The gun-wielding suspect reportedly became agitated after Sallas informed him of his queasiness and suggested keeping a distance on the night of April 26.

“He got upset. I don’t know why. He just got upset and was like, ‘Oh, I don’t give a f–k if you have to throw up,’” Sallas recounted.

Sallas, who was feeling sick from motion and overindulgence, retorted, “You don’t have to be f–king rude!”

The comment angered the armed lookalike, leading him to taunt Sallas by shouting, “a little d–k.”

“Oh yeah, the same one that does your mom and your girl,” Sallas retorted.

The suspect, sensitive about his family honor like Cox’s character Logan Roy, became enraged over the “momma” remark as the train arrived at Jay Street station, said Sallas, who was traveling home with his girlfriend from a DDG rap concert.

“He stood up as the train door was about to open and approached me. I just decided to get off the train,” Sallas recalled. “I saw my girlfriend running, but when I turned around, he had one foot inside the car and one foot out.”

The suspect then revealed a “small black revolver” and pointed it at Sallas before reboarding, according to both the victim and surveillance footage.

The gunman, wearing a hooded black coat, fled the scene, police reported.

Sallas soon realized the subway assailant bore a strong resemblance to the “Succession” star, known for roles in “Braveheart,” “Manhunter,” and “Bourne Identity.”

He expected the older commuter to be “understanding” of his predicament, adding, “I didn’t expect that type of reaction from him.”

“Even if it was someone my age, I would have still informed them. Nobody wants to be near someone who is about to vomit,” Sallas remarked.

“Even after leaving the train and talking to the cops, I started throwing up, proving I wasn’t lying,” he recalled.

Police are seeking information about the armed individual, who remained at large as of Wednesday.

Attempts to reach representatives for Cox were not immediately successful.
