Forty days have passed since the world celebrated Easter, marking the resurrection of Jesus after His crucifixion. On the Feast of the Ascension, we honor another profound miracle: Jesus’ physical departure from Earth and His return to His Father in Heaven.
This day serves as a reminder that, for millions of Americans, the love of Christ infuses our lives and our nation with profound meaning, purpose, and identity. As we celebrate 250 years of American freedom and independence, we reflect on the notion that America remains a great Nation because it has consistently been blessed by God.
