Love Is Blind’s Alexa Lemieux is candidly discussing her decision to divorce her husband, Brennon Lemieux, after four years together.
“I had asked for it,” Alexa, 31, revealed in an exclusive preview of the May 21 episode of the “He Said, G Said” podcast, as reported by Us Weekly. “It wasn’t because there was a lack of love on my part. I just couldn’t do it anymore. I was tired.”
Alexa and Brennon, 35, tied the knot in June 2021 during the third season of Love Is Blind, which premiered on Netflix the following year. The couple welcomed their daughter, Vienna, in July 2024.
During a conversation with podcast hosts Blake Horstmann and Love Is Blind‘s Giannina Milady Gibelli, Alexa indicated that the decision to part ways was mutual.
“My main thing was I just wanted my daughter to see what love looks like, and that wasn’t it,” Alexa explained. “It would be my biggest failure as a mom for that to be what she thought it was.”
Alexa became emotional when recounting a quote she saw online that resonated deeply.
“It sounds so stupid, but I saw something on TikTok and it was like, ‘If your daughter was in the relationship that you’re in, would you be proud or would you be disappointed?’” she said while trying to hold back tears. “I would have been really disappointed. That would have broken my heart. That was my answer, so why do I deserve this then?”

Alexa and Brennon first announced in December 2025 that they had split after four years of marriage.
At the time, they stated the decision “comes with a great deal of care, respect and appreciation for the time we’ve shared.”
That same month, Us confirmed that Brennon previously filed for divorce citing the marriage as “insupportable” due to “conflict of personalities” that hinder any “reasonable expectation of reconciliation.”
Before facing relationship difficulties, fans of Love Is Blind witnessed Alexa and Brennon’s immediate connection after a few pod dates.
During Brennon’s proposal to Alexa, he expressed his deep affection, saying he was “so obsessed” and “in love” with her.
“I want to spend every day of my life trying to make you happy in any way I can,” he declared at the time.
