One of the most intriguing exhibition ideas involves artists transforming everyday objects. Galleries have previously used vintage envelopes, coasters, and matchboxes as canvases for unique small works. Now, nightlights can be added to that creative list.
Running until June 26, DUDD LITE is a joint effort between the design collective Dudd Haus and The Future Perfect gallery. Following an open call that attracted close to 400 submissions, this whimsical exhibition features over 130 nightlights crafted by artists using materials such as stained glass, wood, sea shells, ceramic, and cotton. These creations blur the line between sculpture and functional object, each showcasing a unique artistic perspective on a household essential. All designs are available to view on The Future Perfect website.
