The mainstream media often downplays concerns about Trump’s cognitive abilities, suggesting it is merely a topic of discussion among Democrats on social media. This assertion is misleading, as I am not affiliated with the Democratic Party, yet I have chosen to address the issue of the president’s cognitive decline here. The corporate media’s reluctance to cover this topic leaves a gap in informing the public.

On Friday, during an event ostensibly held to support House Republicans in New York, Donald Trump stepped outside his controlled White House environment. During this appearance, he could not refrain from discussing his cognitive capabilities.
Trump, bearing a lingering resentment toward Gov. Gavin Newsom of California, criticized the governor’s intelligence.
Trump stated:
He struggles to deliver a speech. Admittedly, I don’t give many speeches myself, although it might be beneficial if I did. But, he actually labeled himself as unintelligent. Once you do that, it’s over. However, a politically astute friend told me, “Don’t worry, people forget.” I’m not convinced. I thought it was the worst… This occurred in an interview. It was, in my view, the most disastrous interview by a politician in our nation’s history. Gavin, in my opinion, is… He called himself stupid.
He also claimed to be smarter than anyone else in the room but was subsequently sued for racism. Perhaps he is racist, but he did admit to being unintelligent. You won’t catch me saying such things. I’m the smartest person you’ll meet. It’s true. And don’t you want a smart individual as president? Yes, you do. In fact, I took a cognitive test. I’m the only one who did.

Trump seems unaware that the level of concern regarding his mental faculties, prompting a cognitive test, is not a positive indicator.
This incident provided further evidence of the deterioration of his mental acuity.
