Meija Moreno has opened up about her feelings regarding her past relationship with West Wilson, who is currently involved with Summer House star Amanda Batula.
On Wednesday, June 17, Meija expressed her emotions via Threads, admitting, “I know it’s pathetic to talk to an ex, but haven’t we all been desperate over someone we shouldn’t be? I loved him deeply, and our relationship ended abruptly. I’m not trying to reconcile with him, I promise. This has been one of the most heartbreaking experiences of my life, intensified by public scrutiny. Sometimes, I just want to scream and hear the person I cared about most apologize. I’m not proud of it, but I’ll admit it.”
Meija, who was in a relationship with West, 31, from summer 2025 until March, when he publicly disclosed his relationship with Amanda, expressed gratitude towards Kyle Cooke, Lindsay Hubbard, and Ciara Miller during this challenging time.
She added, “I’m incredibly thankful for Kyle, Lindsay, and especially Ciara for allowing me to share my story. Ciara and I’s connection over our shared experiences is invaluable to me. I don’t know how I would have managed without her support. She’s my girl no matter what.”
Just a day before, Meija appeared on a special bonus episode of Summer House season 10 titled “The Aftermath.” This episode featured discussions with her and Ciara, 30; Amanda, 34; Lindsay, 39; and West and Kyle, 43. During the episode, Meija candidly discussed her interactions with West following his appearance on the season 10 reunion, where he faced questions from his castmates. Ciara also called Meija during the 10-hour filming session and brought her up on-camera.
“We hadn’t talked for a few weeks. After the reunion, he texted me, ‘You win,’” Meija revealed during the episode on Tuesday, June 16. “Following that message, it took him about a week to call me, and we had a six-hour conversation.”
She further mentioned that many of their conversations are now conducted over the phone because of Amanda’s involvement.
Meija shared that West had informed her about attending a wedding alone in Italy, but later she discovered that Amanda was also going. West and Amanda attended a wedding together earlier this month during the airing of the three-part season 10 reunion.
From Meija’s perspective, West traveling with Amanda is a significant affront to everyone involved, especially to her, as she has been answering his calls and trying to understand him.
