In a standout performance at Bathgate Park, Harbour’s first five, Rique Miln, excelled in the drizzle.
Miln, the Hawks’ key playmaker, executed a drop goal, scored a try near the corner, and successfully converted it during the final five minutes, leading his team to a 32-23 victory over Southern.
The conclusion of the match was nothing short of spectacular.

Trailing 23-22, the Hawks made a stunning comeback.
The drop goal was particularly impressive, struck from approximately 35 meters out and 15 meters from the sideline.
In such wet conditions, it was a remarkable feat.
Elsewhere, Kaikorai dominated Zingari-Richmond 64-7 at Montecillo, University overcame Alhambra-Union 50-15 at the North Ground, and Taieri narrowly defeated Green Island 18-15 in a closely contested match at Peter Johnstone Park.
