During a visit to New York, Trump recounted an encounter with a police officer who expressed gratitude to him, saying, “Sir, I want to thank you,” according to Trump’s narrative. Trump inquired, “For what?”
The officer explained that he had been facing marital issues, as his wife didn’t hold him in high regard. Despite being a police officer with a tough demeanor—evident from his muscular physique—his wife had a poor opinion of him, possibly due to his repeated financial losses in the stock market.
Trump went on to claim that the officer told him, “Sir, in the last year and a half, my 401(K) is up 74 percent, sir, and she thinks I’m Warren Buffett. She thinks I’m a super genius.”
When Trump asked about the officer’s current relationship with his wife, the officer replied, “Well, I’m not so sure I like her anymore.”
