TKO Group has responded to the announcement of Brock Lesnar facing off against Oba Femi in a Hell in a Cell Match at WWE SummerSlam 2026. This highly anticipated match was confirmed following Lesnar’s return during this week’s episode of RAW.
The rivalry between Lesnar and Femi began before WrestleMania 42, when Femi accepted Lesnar’s open challenge and decisively defeated him at the event. At WWE Clash in Italy, Lesnar managed to equalize the score at 1-1 by defeating Femi. The final match of their trilogy was confirmed upon Lesnar’s return on RAW.

Sami Zayn is relieved to find out he doesn’t have to face Oba Femi
Oba Femi has clarified that he will not be competing for a World Championship at SummerSlam, choosing instead to focus on his match with Brock Lesnar. Sami Zayn, the new Undisputed WWE Champion, expressed his relief that Femi won’t be challenging him at SummerSlam.
During the RAW Recap podcast, Zayn mentioned that he is pleased to hear that Femi has other plans for SummerSlam.
“I don’t care who the challenger is. I don’t care if it’s Brock [Lesnar]. I don’t care if it’s Roman [Reigns]. I don’t care if it’s Oba. I’ve been in the ring with monsters. I’m not saying it would be a cakewalk, but, I’m not going to back down either… He [Oba Femi] is very imposing. There is no doubt, but I don’t care who it is. That’s the thing about being WWE Champion. Was I a little relieved? I mean, yeah, sure. But, whoever, that’s gotta be part of it. That’s part of the game. That’s what you want. It’s nice to see Oba going off with Brock. That’s nice,”
Zayn captured the title from Cody Rhodes at Night of Champions, winning a Triple Threat Match that also included Gunther.
