In reality, the actual number was significantly smaller, at least ten times less than Trump’s claim.
The attendees who stayed to listen to Trump’s speech heard him speak with slurred words, express his views on communism, call for the SAVE America Act’s passage, and intermittently mention American history, albeit with several inaccuracies.
Fortunately for many, Trump’s late start meant that most Americans continued their daily lives without awareness of the event.
The truly notable occurrence, which has not been covered by mainstream media, took place during the fireworks display.
