A recent legal ruling has established firm parenting guidelines for Willis and her former partner, Derek Richard Thomas. This decision follows a five-page declaration submitted by the 63-year-old G.I. Jane actress, who criticized the child’s father as being selfish and manipulative.
The custody conflict began in July 2025 when Thomas accused 37-year-old Rumer, the daughter of dementia-stricken Die Hard star Bruce Willis, of obstructing his involvement in their daughter Louetta’s life.
Shortly after Thomas denied allegations of domestic violence and drug use presented by his ex, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Ryan D. White awarded the contentious parents joint custody. As part of this arrangement, the father will see Louetta every other weekend.
The judge implemented strict and somewhat unexpected rules to ensure Louetta’s safety.
“[Derek] is not to bathe nude with the minor child,” the court order specifies. “Neither party shall post any nude or seminude images or videos of the minor child on Instagram, other social media, or any public platform. Any such content must be promptly removed.”
