Wesley first encountered his initial wife, Torrey DeVitto, during the filming of the 2008 horror movie Killer Movie. The couple, who married in April 2011, also acted together on The Vampire Diaries from 2012 to 2013, where DeVitto portrayed Dr. Meredith Fell.
