Before tonight’s episode of WWE RAW, Drew McIntyre engaged with a wrestling fan online. This RAW marks the first show after Saturday Night’s Main Event and will be broadcast live from the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan.

McIntyre lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes leading up to WrestleMania 42. He then faced Jacob Fatu at The Show of Shows in an Unsanctioned match, where he was defeated by the veteran. Since his WrestleMania loss, the 41-year-old has been on a break from the company.
After WrestleMania, Fatu pursued the World Heavyweight Championship but was unsuccessful against Roman Reigns at Backlash and Clash in Italy. Following these losses, Fatu recognized Reigns as his Tribal Chief and has since joined The Bloodline on RAW. He is set to face LA Knight in a singles match during tonight’s show.
Drew McIntyre comments on his WWE schedule
Recently, Drew McIntyre shared insights into his training routine and how the reduction of WWE Live Events has impacted him.
During an appearance on Bobby Bones Presents: The BobbyCast, McIntyre explained that he now wrestles once every few months, which has significantly changed his training approach.
“These days, I probably wrestle one match every couple of months. They finally eliminated most of the non-televised shows. One, the talent were just getting hurt all the time and going out quicker, and two, from a profit standpoint, it just didn’t make sense. It never made sense to me, profit-wise. So now, the money’s in the TV deals and all the other massive deals that the billion dollar man Nick Khan is constantly making so because I’m wrestling once every two months, every three months, I do feel like I’ve been in a car crash after the matches and I train for each match now, like, I assume a boxer would train for a fight, UFC fighter would train for a fight, I train for each pro wrestling match,” said McIntyre.
