Prime Video is set to debut the second season of its Tamil suspense thriller series, “Vadhandhi – The Mystery of Mani,” on a global scale this August.
Andrew Louis, the creator and writer of the first season, is back to direct and write for the new season. The project is creatively produced by Pushkar and Gayatri under their Wallwatcher Films banner. The season, which spans eight episodes, features M. Sasikumar as SI Moosa Raza, a law enforcement officer whose pursuit of truth brings him into conflict with political influences, media scrutiny, and his own vulnerabilities. The cast also includes Yashwanth, Anagha Maruthora, Aparna Das, Vivek Prasanna, Revathy Sharma, and Arjun Nandhakumar in significant roles.
Set in the culturally vibrant city of Madurai, the season’s plot unfolds against the backdrop of the Jallikattu festival, continuing its exploration of rumor versus reality. The storyline kicks off as skeletal remains are discovered during a highway project ceremony, leading Moosa Raza to track down a mysterious prisoner named Mani.
The series will be available on Prime Video in Tamil, with dubbed versions in Telugu and Hindi, and will offer subtitles in 15 languages including English, commencing globally on August 7.

Wallwatcher Films, established by Pushkar and Gayatri, has previously produced both seasons of “Suzhal – The Vortex,” the initial season of “Vadhandhi – The Fable of Velonie,” and the series “Exam” for Prime Video. Their portfolio also includes the short “The Mask” and the Netflix feature “Aelay.”

Prime Video hosts a selection of Tamil-language titles alongside a broader array of series including “Mirzapur,” “The Family Man,” “Panchayat,” and “Paatal Lok,” as well as international hits such as “The Boys” and “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.”
