Netflix has greenlit another Harlan Coben thriller series, titled “I Will Find You.” This eight-episode limited series will be the first U.S. scripted series under Coben’s creative partnership with Netflix. The story revolves around an innocent father who is serving a life sentence for the murder of his own son. When he receives evidence suggesting that his son may still be alive, he is determined to break out of prison to uncover the truth.

The adaptation of the 2023 novel will be spearheaded by showrunner Robert Hull, known for his work on “God Friended Me” and “Quantum Leap.” Coben will executive produce the series through his Final Twist Productions banner, alongside Hull, Bryan Wynbrandt, Steven Lilien, and John Weber. Coben and Hull serve as co-creators of the series adaptation.

“I Will Find You” is just one of the many series that Coben has in the pipeline with Netflix. His previous thriller “Missing You” is set to premiere on January 1, 2025, while other titles like “Caught” and “Run Away” are also in development. Coben’s successful track record with Netflix includes hits like “Fool Me Once,” “Stay Close,” “The Stranger,” “The Innocent,” and more. He is currently collaborating with Reese Witherspoon on a thriller novel expected to release in October 2025.

Peter Friedlander, Netflix’s vice president of scripted series in the U.S. and Canada, expressed excitement about Coben’s storytelling prowess and the upcoming series, stating that audiences can expect the same thrilling experience that sets Coben’s work apart. Hull, who is thrilled to work alongside Coben, described the opportunity as a dream come true. Hull’s extensive experience in the industry, including work on shows like “God Friended Me” and “Gotham,” positions him well to bring Coben’s gripping narrative to life.

Hull is represented by CAA and David Ryan of Felker Toczek Suddleson Abramson McGinnis Ryan LLP. Wynbrandt and Lilien are also represented by CAA and attorney Todd Rubenstein.

Fans of Harlan Coben’s suspenseful storytelling can look forward to “I Will Find You” as the latest addition to the author’s impressive repertoire of thrilling series. Stay tuned for more updates on this highly anticipated project.
