88-Year-Old Man Fatally Stabs Wife in Front of Family in Staten Island Home
An 88-year-old man shocked his family when he fatally stabbed his elderly wife inside their Staten Island home on Thursday night, according to police sources. The tragic incident unfolded in the couple’s residence on Caramel Court in Dongan Hills, with relatives present during the horrifying ordeal.
According to sources, an argument escalated, leading the elderly man to grab a knife and plunge it into his wife’s chest. The 87-year-old woman, identified as Laxmiben Khristi, was rushed to Staten Island University Hospital but tragically succumbed to her injuries.
Witnesses informed authorities that the couple had been embroiled in a heated dispute before the violent altercation turned deadly. The husband was apprehended at the scene by law enforcement officers, and charges are expected to be filed against him.
