Defense Attorney Vows to Fight Extradition for Accused Murderer

Pennsylvania-based defense attorney Tom Dickey has taken on the case of Luigi Mangione, the accused murderer of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. Dickey has vowed to “fight” the case on behalf of his client, but has remained tight-lipped about who hired him to represent Mangione.

Speaking from his office in Altoona, Dickey made it clear that he plans to challenge the extradition of Mangione to New York, where he faces murder and other charges for allegedly gunning down Thompson in Midtown. Mangione was arrested by officials in Altoona on December 9.
