The Paper Ark, a collaborative project between Nayan Shrimali and Venus Bird, is dedicated to showcasing the beauty of wildlife through intricate paper-cut art. In their latest series, “The Parrot Project,” the talented artists focus on the vibrant beauty of parrots and their importance in the ecosystem.

Over the course of a year, Nayan and Venus meticulously hand-cut and painted 40 different species of parrots, capturing the vivid colors and unique characteristics of each bird. From the striking blue, yellow, and red macaw to the dramatic red-tailed black cockatoo, the collection showcases the diverse range of tropical avian varieties.

The artists aim to not only highlight the beauty of these magnificent creatures but also raise awareness about their significance in nature. To support parrot conservation efforts, 10% of the proceeds from the sales of this series will be donated to a conservation organization.
