Erin Quinn, a dedicated volunteer for her local holiday toy drive, had her world turned upside down when she fell victim to a horrifying scam that led to a violent attack and attempted abduction. The incident began innocently enough when Quinn received a text message from an unknown number claiming to be a generous donor named Connie. Little did she know that this seemingly kind gesture would take a sinister turn.

Connie, the supposed donor, provided an address for Quinn to pick up the donations. When Quinn arrived at the location, she was instructed to wait in her car for the gifts to be brought out to her. However, as she returned to her vehicle, she was shocked to find a stranger waiting inside. The situation quickly escalated as the woman in her backseat attacked Quinn, using a Taser and ordering her to drive away.

Despite being repeatedly shocked with the Taser, Quinn bravely fought back and ultimately crashed the vehicle after about 25 minutes. The two women then engaged in a physical altercation, during which Quinn managed to bite off a portion of her attacker’s finger in self-defense. It was only when a courageous bystander intervened that Quinn was able to escape the clutches of her assailant.

In the aftermath of the terrifying ordeal, Quinn was left with bruises, burns from the Taser, hair ripped out, and broken nails. She identified her attacker as her former housekeeper, Olga Mendez, who had disguised herself with a blonde wig. Quinn believes that Mendez may have been planning to kidnap her and take her across the border, possibly for ransom or sale.

Local authorities have yet to make any arrests in connection with the incident, leaving Quinn understandably fearful and traumatized. A GoFundMe page has been set up by a friend to support Quinn’s recovery from the brutal attack, with donations pouring in to help her cope with the physical and emotional aftermath of the harrowing experience.

Quinn’s dedication to helping others through the holiday toy drive was met with a terrifying betrayal, but her resilience and courage in the face of danger serve as a testament to her strength. As she navigates the aftermath of this traumatic event, Quinn remains determined to overcome the challenges and rebuild her sense of security and trust in the community.
