Week 15 of the 2024 fantasy football season kicks off with a Thursday Night Football matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers. This NFC West showdown has significant playoff implications and features two high-powered offenses. Here are some of the top targets and fades for fantasy lineups in Week 15.
Kyren Williams has been a model of consistency in the 2024 fantasy football season, finishing as the RB27 or better in all 13 games he has played. He has also cracked the top ten weekly running backs four times, including the last two weeks, earning him the RB7 ranking for the season. Despite facing a tough defense in the 49ers, Williams remains an elite option for fantasy lineups this week.
Another standout player to consider is Puka Nacua, who has been impressive since returning from injury for the Rams. In six of his last seven games, Nacua has finished among the top 20 weekly wide receivers. Coming off a stellar performance against the Buffalo Bills with 17 touches on 19 targets for 178 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns, Nacua’s consistent output makes him a top wide receiver option for Week 15.
In addition to Williams and Nacua, Cooper Kupp and George Kittle are must-starts for fantasy lineups this week. For those looking for DFS picks, Brock Purdy, Matthew Stafford, and Jauan Jennings are worth considering.
On the flip side, there are players to fade in Week 15. Deebo Samuel has struggled to produce in fantasy football recently, failing to exceed 25 receiving yards in his last four games and going without a touchdown for eight weeks. With the 49ers utilizing other offensive weapons more, Samuel is a clear fade this week.
Another player to sit is Blake Corum, who has yet to establish a significant role with the Rams. Despite receiving eight carries in each of his last two games, Corum has not finished inside the top 40 running backs in any game this season. Until his role increases, Corum is not a reliable option for fantasy lineups.
Joining Samuel and Corum on the sit list are Colby Parkinson and DeMarcus Robinson. In terms of DFS fades, Isaac Guerendo, Patrick Taylor, and Deebo Samuel should be avoided.
As fantasy football playoffs kick off in most leagues this week, it’s crucial to make smart lineup decisions. By considering the must-starts and must-sits for Week 15, fantasy managers can maximize their chances of success.
