Disgruntled Arby’s Customer Arrested for Assaulting Teenage Employee

A recent incident at an Arby’s drive-thru in South Jordan, Utah, has led to the arrest of a disgruntled customer on assault and child abuse charges. Salvador Anthony Espericueta, 51, was taken into custody after he allegedly choked a teenage employee who was handling his order at the fast-food restaurant.

The altercation occurred around 2:15 p.m. on a Saturday when Espericueta became upset with his order and decided to confront the employee. Witnesses reported that he asked the young worker if he was “man enough to have a conversation” before shoving him against the wall and door of the establishment.

Espericueta then proceeded to put his hand around the victim’s neck before getting back into his car and fleeing the scene. Police were able to track him down and arrest him at his home. During questioning, he admitted to making a mistake at the Arby’s drive-thru.

As a result of his actions, Espericueta now faces charges of aggravated assault, aggravated child abuse, and disorderly conduct. The incident has sparked outrage and concern over the safety of fast-food workers who often face difficult and sometimes dangerous situations while on the job.
