Dave Coulier, best known for his role on the hit show Full House, recently shared an update on his ongoing battle with cancer. In a candid moment on his podcast “Full House Rewind,” the 65-year-old actor opened up about the challenges he has been facing during his treatment.

Coulier revealed that the side effects of his cancer treatment have been difficult to manage. He described it as a constant battle, with his body in fight or flight mode as he adjusts to the various medications and therapies. Despite the challenges, Coulier remains resilient and determined to overcome his diagnosis.

In November 2024, Coulier announced that he had been diagnosed with Stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The diagnosis came after he experienced severe swelling of his lymph nodes following an upper respiratory infection. After undergoing PET and CT scans, as well as a biopsy, Coulier received the news that he had a very aggressive form of B cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

Non-Hodgkin lymphoma is a type of cancer that affects the body’s lymphatic system, causing abnormal growth of white blood cells called lymphocytes. The disease can spread throughout the body, forming tumors in various organs and tissues. Despite the seriousness of his diagnosis, Coulier remains optimistic about his prognosis.

Following his public announcement of his diagnosis, Coulier and his wife Melissa Bring sought guidance from friends in the medical field to create a personalized treatment plan. The couple made a conscious decision to be open and transparent about Coulier’s journey, hoping to inspire others and raise awareness about the importance of early cancer screenings.

Since sharing his story, Coulier has received an outpouring of support from fans and individuals affected by cancer. He believes that by speaking out about his experience, he can encourage others to prioritize their health and seek early screenings for various types of cancer.

Overall, Coulier remains determined to face his cancer diagnosis head-on and is grateful for the support and encouragement he has received. His journey serves as a reminder of the importance of resilience, positivity, and the power of sharing one’s story to inspire others.
