Withings Vision BPM: A New Era of Cardiovascular Health

Withings is a well-known brand in the smartwatch industry, but their latest offerings are delving deeper into the realm of cardiovascular health. At CES 2025, Withings unveiled two groundbreaking products – a blood pressure monitor and a subscription service that includes quarterly check-ups with a cardiologist.

The star of the show is the BPM Vision, a portable blood pressure monitor that comes in a convenient carry case. Similar to other devices on the market, the BPM Vision uses an inflatable cuff to measure blood pressure. While Withings already had the slimline BPM Connect in their lineup, the BPM Vision aims to simplify the process of checking your results by displaying them directly on the device’s large color OLED screen.

Priced at $130 and expected to launch in April pending FDA approval, the BPM Vision offers a more traditional approach to blood pressure monitoring with clear and easy-to-read instructions directly on the device.

In addition to the BPM Vision, Withings introduced a new feature called Cardio Check-Up as part of their Withings Plus subscription. This feature allows users to request a check-up of their heart data to ensure everything is in good shape. With an annual Withings Plus Plan, users can access four check-ups a year, while monthly members will have a check-up every three months.

The Cardio Check-Up shares ECG data and other health information with cardiologists to check for signs of atrial fibrillation and other anomalies. Withings collaborates with cardiologists in each country to provide personalized insights tailored to individual health needs, without the need for in-person or phone appointments. Users can simply view the check-up results in the Withings app.

To utilize the Cardio Check-Up feature, users must have a Withings device capable of recording ECG data, such as the ScanWatch 2, ScanWatch Nova, Nova Brilliant, Body Scan scale, and BPM Core blood pressure monitor. Currently available in the U.S., France, and Germany, Withings plans to expand the service to additional territories in the future.

With the introduction of the BPM Vision and Cardio Check-Up, Withings is taking a major step towards empowering users to take control of their cardiovascular health with innovative technology and personalized care.
