Former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi faced questions from Senators during a confirmation hearing for the U.S. Attorney General. Bondi, who was nominated after Rep. Matt Gaetz withdrew his name as Trump’s pick for AG, displayed poise and confidence during the hearing.

In a notable exchange, Democratic Senator Dick Durbin of Illinois attempted to question Bondi about President Trump’s call to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger regarding alleged missing votes in the 2020 presidential election. Durbin mentioned Trump’s directive to “find 11,780 votes,” but Bondi quickly pointed out that the call was actually an hour long, prompting Durbin to backtrack and admit to the extended conversation.

Bondi’s sharp response showcased her ability to navigate tough questioning, and she further emphasized her readiness by reminding the Democratic Senators that her childhood friends could vouch for her character. This declaration was a strategic move to deter any attempts to discredit her during the confirmation process.

The interaction between Bondi and Durbin highlighted her composure and quick thinking under pressure. Bondi’s performance during the hearing, coupled with her ability to handle challenging inquiries, suggests that she is well-equipped for the role of U.S. Attorney General.

Overall, Bondi’s confirmation hearing showcased her resilience and preparedness for the position, making her a strong candidate for the role. Her ability to handle tough questioning and stay composed in challenging situations bodes well for her potential tenure as U.S. Attorney General.

Democrats are a disgrace.Watching the same old smear campaigns about nominees and Trump and you still don’t get it. Democrats are liars and can’t be trusted, and the corruption is real. If Democrats would attempt to tell the truth and not a narrative, their reputation may be salvageable.
