Novak Djokovic, the legendary Serbian tennis player, recently shared his thoughts on the rising stars of the sport, Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner. Alcaraz, currently ranked No. 3 in the ATP rankings, and Sinner, holding the top spot, have been making waves in the tennis world with their impressive performances.

Djokovic, with an incredible 24 Grand Slam titles to his name, including 10 Australian Opens, three French Opens, seven Wimbledons, and four US Opens, is considered the most successful male player in history. In 2024, he added an Olympic gold medal to his illustrious career, completing his legacy.

Known for welcoming and supporting the new generation of players, Djokovic has been a mentor to players like Grigor Dimitrov, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev, Alexander Zverev, and Dominic Thiem. He continues to show his support for the young talents like Alcaraz and Sinner.

In a recent interview with GQ Sports, Djokovic expressed his belief that while his records may seem unbeatable, Alcaraz and Sinner have the potential to surpass them in the future. He emphasized the importance of fitness and longevity in achieving long-term success in the sport.

At just 21 years old, Alcaraz has already secured four Grand Slam titles, including two at Wimbledon, one at the US Open, and one at the French Open. Djokovic praised Alcaraz’s achievements, stating that the young Spaniard has a bright future ahead of him.

Looking ahead to the Australian Open 2025, Djokovic is set to face Nishesh Basavareddy in his opening match. As he progresses through the tournament, potential matchups with players like Pavel Kotov, Grigor Dimitrov, and Carlos Alcaraz await him. The possibility of facing Jannik Sinner in the final adds an exciting twist to the competition.
