EO Media, a production and distribution company based in Buenos Aires, has officially announced the premiere of the Argentine-Brazilian series “Sumergidos” on A&E Latin America on January 27. This exciting news comes as the show makes its debut at Content Americas.

The company recently closed a number of new movie deals at Mip Cancun with major players such as Paramount, NBC Universal, Globo, and MVS. In addition, they secured free TV agreements in several Latin American countries including Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia, Mexico, Brazil, and Uruguay. They also finalized inflight deals for multiple films in their lineup at the event in Mexico.

“Sumergidos” joins A&E’s collection of crime drama series which includes popular titles like “Narcos,” “Narcos: Mexico,” “El Chapo,” “Rosario Tijeras,” “El Patrón del Mal,” and “Sobreviviendo a Escobar: Alias JJ.”

Eze Olzanski, the founder of EO Media, expressed his satisfaction with the success of previous shows like “Narcos” on both pay TV networks and Netflix. This marks the first pan-Latin American pay TV premiere for “Sumergidos,” which originally premiered on Paramount Channel in Brazil and TV Publica in Argentina in 2022.

Directed by Claudio Rosa and Pablo Brasa from Argentina, along with Brazilian filmmaker Marcia Paraíso, “Sumergidos” is a 13-episode crime thriller set in Florianópolis and Córdoba. The series delves into the world of surfing, drug trafficking, and politics, with scripts penned by Rosa, Glauco Broering, and Brusa.

Co-produced by Jaque Content, Prisma Films, Bonaparte, Story Lab, and Plural Filmes, the show features a talented cast of over 60 actors from Argentina and Brazil. Notable stars include Mariano Bertolini, Liz Solari, Jorge Marrale, Cassio Nascimento, Zé Carlos Machado, and Ana Cecilia Costa.

The production also introduces emerging talents such as Lucas Heymanns, who shines as Gordo, a key character in the series. Professional surfer José Francisco Filho, also known as Fininho, served as a stunt double for the lead character.

At Content Americas 2025, EO Media presents a diverse catalog of over 250 films and series, including acclaimed titles like “Arthur’s Whisky,” “A Little White Lie,” “Sunrise,” and “Clear Cut.” They have also co-produced projects like “Ringo: Glory & Death” and “Cris Miró (Ella),” with new ventures in the works across Latin America, France, the U.K., and the U.S.

One of their upcoming series, “Punta Blanca,” a collaboration with Uruguay’s El Camino Films starring Natalia Oreiro, was recently announced at the LA Screenings. With a strong track record of successful partnerships and compelling content, EO Media continues to make waves in the global entertainment industry.
