Adobeâs Scott Belsky Joins A24 as Chief Strategy Officer
Scott Belsky, chief strategy officer at Adobe, has announced his departure from the tech giant to join A24, the renowned independent movie studio known for producing hits like âCivil Warâ and âEverything Everywhere All At Once.â
Belsky initially joined Adobe in 2012 following the acquisition of Behance. He briefly departed in 2016 to work as a venture capitalist at Benchmark but eventually returned to Adobe, where he held the position of executive vice president of design and emerging products.
A24, on the other hand, was established in 2012 and quickly gained a loyal following for its unique approach to filmmaking, particularly in the horror genre with movies like âHereditary.â The studio has also received critical acclaim for its diverse range of films and has even secured two Best Picture Oscars for âEverything Everywhere All At Onceâ and âMoonlight.â
Despite its indie roots, A24 has been making moves to expand its commercial reach by raising significant funding rounds at a valuation of $3.25 billion. This signals the studioâs ambitions to compete on a larger scale in the entertainment industry.
In a recent announcement on X, Belsky revealed that he would be joining A24 as a partner, where he will be spearheading several special projects. He expressed his excitement to collaborate with his new partners in supporting A24âs mission of championing the worldâs top storytellers.
