The 19-year-old athlete first gained attention in 2021 when she clinched the balance beam gold at the Winter Cup and the all-around title at the American Classic in her debut senior year. Since then, she has added two World Championships gold medals and three Pan American Championships medals to her name.

After more than six months of recovery and hard work, she made her comeback to competition representing the Florida Gators in the NCAA. Celebrating her return on social media, Blakely expressed gratitude for the support she received during her recovery journey. In her NCAA debut, she competed on the uneven bars and scored a commendable 9.725, marking her return to competitive gymnastics.
