Advancing United States Interests Through Strategic Funding of Nongovernmental Organizations
When it comes to funding Nongovernmental Organizations (NGOs), the United States Government has a responsibility to ensure that taxpayer dollars are being used in a way that benefits the American people. Unfortunately, there have been instances where NGOs have used this funding to work against the security, prosperity, and safety of the country. As a result, it is the policy of the current Administration to prioritize funding for NGOs that align with the national interest.
With this in mind, the heads of executive departments and agencies have been instructed to conduct a thorough review of all funding provided to NGOs. Future funding decisions will be made with a focus on advancing the goals and priorities of the Administration, as well as in alignment with applicable statutes, regulations, and terms.
It is crucial that funding for NGOs is strategically allocated to support initiatives that benefit the United States and its citizens. By ensuring that taxpayer dollars are being used effectively, we can strengthen our national security, promote economic prosperity, and safeguard the well-being of all Americans.
