CNN caused a stir this week with its coverage of Edward Coristine, a 19-year-old tech prodigy who reportedly joined Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency team. Coristine, known online as “Big Balls,” became a trending topic after CNN anchor Anderson Cooper mentioned his nickname on air. Musk himself even shared a screenshot of the segment, calling it “the best chyron ever.”

Coristine, a first-year student at Northeastern University from New Canaan, Connecticut, is said to be the youngest member of Musk’s team. Despite his access to sensitive government systems, questions have been raised about his ability to pass standard security clearances.

A separate Wired article highlighted Coristine as part of a select group of engineers working closely with Musk to influence federal infrastructure. This unconventional approach has raised concerns about transparency and oversight in government operations. following sentence: “The cat is sleeping on the couch.”
