Louisiana authorities are currently investigating the tragic death of Telemundo Super Bowl reporter Adam Manzano, who was found deceased in a New Orleans hotel room. The police are looking into the possibility that Manzano may have been drugged before his untimely demise. The prime suspect in this case is Danette Colbert, also known as the “Bourbon Street Hustler,” who has a history of drugging men and robbing them.

Manzano, a 27-year-old reporter for Telemundo Kansas City, was in New Orleans to cover the Super Bowl when he was last seen on security footage entering a hotel room with Colbert. Authorities discovered Manzano’s cellphone and credit card in Colbert’s possession, leading to her arrest on robbery charges in connection with his death. The Kenner Police Department is awaiting the results of a toxicology report to determine if Manzano was indeed drugged by Colbert.

Several other individuals have come forward claiming to be victims of Colbert’s drugging and theft schemes. One such victim, David Butler, recounted an incident where he was approached by Colbert and another woman at a bar in the French Quarter. After being offered a cocktail by Colbert, Butler felt disoriented and eventually woke up in a black Suburban with his belongings missing and his credit cards used for unauthorized purchases.

Butler later discovered that over $80,000 from his cryptocurrency account had been stolen. Despite reporting the incident, Colbert managed to evade serious consequences until her recent arrest in connection with Manzano’s death. Butler criticized the lenient sentencing Colbert received in a previous case, arguing that stricter measures could have prevented Manzano’s tragic fate.

Court records show that Colbert had faced similar charges in the past, including grand larceny and drug administration, but these cases were dismissed when the victims refused to testify. In a separate case, Colbert was convicted of computer fraud, theft, and illegal transmission of funds, receiving probation instead of jail time. Butler expressed concern that if Colbert had faced harsher consequences earlier, Manzano might still be alive today.

As the investigation into Manzano’s death continues, the community mourns the loss of a talented reporter whose life was cut short under suspicious circumstances. Authorities are working diligently to uncover the truth behind this tragic incident and bring justice to those affected by Colbert’s criminal activities.
