Rob Corddry Set to Join AMC’s Silicon Valley Project

Rob Corddry, known for his work on “Childrens Hospital” and “Ballers,” is set to join AMC’s upcoming Silicon Valley project created by Jonathan Glatzer. The series will also star Billy Magnussen and Sarah Goldberg in lead roles.

Corddry will be a series regular on the show, portraying the character Tom Ruffage. The untitled series follows a tech CEO (Magnussen) and his ‘performance psychologist’ (Goldberg) as they navigate the complexities of the Silicon Valley tech industry. Corddry’s most recent project was the Chuck Lorre comedy “Bookie,” which unfortunately was canceled after two seasons.

With a successful career in television, Corddry is best known for his work on “Childrens Hospital,” which earned him four Emmys. He also starred in HBO’s “Ballers” alongside Dwayne Johnson and was a correspondent on “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.” Corddry has also ventured into podcasting with his show “Amy Always Wins” since 2023.

In addition to his television work, Corddry has appeared in films such as “Hot Tub Time Machine,” “The Way Way Back,” and “80 for Brady.” His upcoming project includes “Kissinger Takes Paris.”

The Glatzer project, produced by AMC Studios, was greenlit by AMC and AMC+ last year. The drama, set in Silicon Valley, explores the corporate culture and innovation labs of the tech industry. The series delves into a scandal involving the exploitation of personal data and the conflicts between a tech CEO and his performance psychologist.

Described as a satirical take on ambition, corporate ethics, and the people shaping the future, the show promises to expose the absurdities of the tech world. Gina Mingacci, known for her work on “Killing Eve,” is also an executive producer on the project.
