Luigi Mangione, currently in custody for his alleged involvement in the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO, has made a public plea for his supporters to limit the number of photos they send him. According to a report by the New York Post, Mangione expressed difficulty in managing the influx of images at the Brooklyn detention facility where he is being held.

On his legal defence fund website, it was stated that he can receive photos through Shutterfly and FreePrints as per the mail procedures in custody. However, due to the high volume of photos received, there may be delays in screening and distribution.

Mangione has requested that people send no more than five photos at a time, acknowledging the screening process conducted by law enforcement on each photo received.

The website also encourages supporters to visit the donation page for Mangione’s defence fund, which has raised over $615,000 so far.

In a statement on the site, Mangione expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support he has received from a diverse range of individuals, stating that he reads every letter he receives even though he may not be able to respond to all of them.

Recently, supporters gathered outside a Manhattan courthouse in freezing temperatures to catch a glimpse of Mangione during his court hearing. The Ivy League graduate from a prominent Maryland real estate family appeared in court wearing designer loafers, visibly shackled at the ankles.
