President Donald Trump is certainly living up to the motto of “move fast and break things” as he continues to redefine the government and America’s place in the world. With his recent meetings with French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Trump is making waves on the international stage.

In addition to his diplomatic efforts, Trump is also shaking things up domestically. Speaker Mike Johnson has advanced a budget resolution that will be key in passing Trump’s agenda through reconciliation. And looming on the horizon is the potential for a government shutdown, adding even more uncertainty to the mix.

Next week, all eyes will be on Trump as he delivers his Joint Address to Congress. The nation will be eagerly awaiting to see what new announcements and initiatives the President will unveil.

To delve deeper into all of these developments, the Playbook Deep Dive podcast is the place to turn. Host Eugene Daniels, along with senior Congress editor Mike DeBonis and West Wing Playbook co-author Sophia Cai, provide insightful analysis and predictions for the week ahead.

With Trump at the helm, the pace of change in Washington has never been faster. Stay tuned as the drama unfolds and the future of America hangs in the balance.
