Shemar Moore is not ready to say goodbye to “S.W.A.T.” just yet, despite the recent announcement of the show’s cancellation by CBS for the third time. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Moore expressed his disappointment at the news, just three weeks away from the season finale of the eighth season.

In the video shared on his Instagram account, Moore thanked the incredible crew of “S.W.A.T.,” calling them the best in Hollywood. He also expressed gratitude to CBS for giving him the opportunity to be a part of shows like “Criminal Minds” and “S.W.A.T.,” which have been instrumental in his successful career.

Despite the cancellation, Moore made it clear that he is not ready to throw in the towel just yet. He called on streaming giant Netflix, where the first seven seasons of “S.W.A.T.” are currently available in the U.S., to consider picking up the show. Moore highlighted the show’s success on the platform, reaching the number one spot not too long ago. He urged Netflix to give the show a chance to continue entertaining audiences worldwide.

Moore is not alone in his disappointment over the cancellation. Executive producer Shawn Ryan also expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to work on “S.W.A.T.” for eight seasons, telling the stories of Hondo and the 20-Squad. He thanked the fans, the cast, producers, Sony Pictures Television, and CBS for their support throughout the show’s run.

With “S.W.A.T.” having been canceled twice before, Moore remains hopeful that the show could be saved once again. As fans wait to see what the future holds for the beloved series, Moore’s determination to keep the show alive is a testament to the impact it has had on both him and the audience. Only time will tell if “S.W.A.T.” will find a new home and continue to captivate viewers with its thrilling storylines and dynamic characters.
