Troubled rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine recently found himself in hot water once again as federal authorities raided his Florida mansion. The 28-year-old, known for his colorful appearance and controversial behavior, shared with TMZ that he was handcuffed for six hours during the raid, which took place on Wednesday morning. The authorities reportedly seized drugs and guns from his home.

According to reports from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, their narcotics squad, in collaboration with federal probation officers, conducted the search at Hernandez’s mansion where he is currently under house arrest. The rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, revealed that the officers took DNA samples from him and confiscated items for further analysis, including guns and drugs.

Despite the raid and the items seized, Hernandez maintains his innocence, claiming that he has been abiding by the terms of his house arrest and has done nothing wrong. He was not arrested during the raid as there was no probable cause at the time. The decision to handcuff him during the search was allegedly made for the safety of the officers involved.

This incident is not the first legal trouble for Hernandez. In November, he was sentenced to 45 days in prison followed by a period of house arrest for violating the terms of his probation. In 2019, he had served a two-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to involvement in gang-related violence. Despite being released early in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he was arrested again in November 2024 for further probation violations.

In addition to his legal troubles in the United States, Hernandez also faces charges in the Dominican Republic for domestic violence, battery, and failure to appear in court. His tumultuous past and ongoing legal issues continue to follow him as he navigates the complexities of fame and notoriety in the music industry.
