“The Boys” actor Tomer Capone is set to star in a new romantic comedy series titled “Save the Date” from Keshet International, as reported by Variety. The series follows the story of Dassy, a wedding planner who finds herself in a relationship slump after her longtime partner reveals a shocking secret. Seeking comfort from her grandmother, Dassy reluctantly agrees to participate in an ancient spell to summon her true love. However, instead of one suitor, her grandmother manages to conjure up four potential partners who compete for Dassy’s affections.

With a high-pressure wedding to plan in just two weeks for her high school rival, Dassy must navigate the romantic chaos and determine which man, if any, will lead to her own happily ever after. Capone plays one of Dassy’s potential suitors, while Oshri Cohen from “McMafia” stars as another.

The series, originally titled “Bekarov Etzli” in Hebrew, was created and written by Ori Gross and produced by Tedy Productions in collaboration with Reisdor for Keshet 12. “Save the Date” is set to premiere in Israel on Keshet 12 on Sept. 2, with Keshet International handling global sales rights and showcasing the show as a priority title at this year’s Mipcom event in Cannes from Oct. 21 to 24.

Fans can look forward to seeing Tomer Capone in a new light as he takes on the role of a besotted suitor in this charming and comedic series. Stay tuned for the premiere of “Save the Date” and see which suitor ultimately captures Dassy’s heart in this romantic whirlwind of a show.
