British Influencer Andrew Tate and Brother Accused of Rape and Human Trafficking Allowed to Leave Romania for US
After being banned from leaving Romania and facing charges of rape and human trafficking, British influencer Andrew Tate and his brother were unexpectedly allowed to fly to the US. The Tates, who maintain their innocence, have been embroiled in a legal battle with a woman known as Jane Doe.
According to reports, the Tates’ lawyer sent a letter to Jane Doe in January 2023, demanding that she retract her statement or face a lawsuit seeking $10 million in damages from both her and her parents. When Jane did not comply, the Tates filed a defamation lawsuit against her and her parents in August of the same year, seeking $5 million in reputational damages.
Following the legal actions, Jane Doe’s lawyer claims that she has been subjected to a campaign of harassment, including the sharing of her personal information online, a practice known as doxing. The Tates’ millions of followers have allegedly been encouraged to harass, discredit, and humiliate Jane Doe.
“The Tate brothers have incited their followers to harass her for years,” stated Jane Doe’s lawyer. “She has been living in fear that the Tates’ supporters and associates would track her down. Now that they are in Florida, there is a heightened concern that the Tates themselves could locate her.”
The situation continues to escalate, with Jane Doe seeking protection and justice against the alleged harassment and intimidation she has faced from the Tates and their followers. The legal battle between the parties is ongoing, with the fate of both Jane Doe and the Tates hanging in the balance.
