Lively Eats Up a Storm at SXSW Festival Amid Premier of New Movie

Blake Lively has been enjoying the food scene at the SXSW festival, where her upcoming movie, Another Simple Favor, premiered to much anticipation.

The Gossip Girl actress, 37, took to Instagram to reflect on her time in Austin, Texas, sharing multiple memories from the trip in a carousel post.

“Final Austin roundup for @asimplefavor. I know how fortunate I am to work with each of you,” Lively captioned the post following the successful opening of the comedic-thriller sequel at the recent 2025 SXSW Film & TV Festival.

She expressed her gratitude to friends and loved ones for making the weekend special, before humorously adding, “Ok. Back to sweatpants now. That was fun.”

Lively, who stars as Emily Nelson alongside Anna Kendrick’s Stephanie Smothers in the movie, shared various images of herself engaging in activities like playing ping pong with co-star Michele Morrone, who portrays Dante Versano in the film.

The actress also posted selfies, foodie snaps, and a picture of herself with Kendrick at the movie’s world premiere on Friday, March 7.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, is seeking to be dismissed from Justin Baldoni’s lawsuit against the couple, signaling a desire to move on from the legal drama.
