Baldoni’s Defense Against Lively’s Claims
Actor Baldoni has been diligently working to refute the allegations made by actress Lively. One of the main points of contention revolves around a specific dance scene in which Lively claimed Baldoni made inappropriate comments about her perfume and veered off-script by kissing her neck.
However, Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, has stated that this particular scene will be a crucial aspect of his defense strategy. Freedman emphasized, “There were certain things that were alleged in the pleadings that she calls harassment and that will be the subject of that matter.”
During an appearance on The Town with Matt Belloni podcast, Freedman contended that the case primarily boils down to a “she said, he said” scenario rather than being firmly grounded in factual evidence.
He further explained, “Whether she felt harassed or not is one thing. But does it rise to the legal definition of harassment? The answer is no.”
According to Freedman, the law does not cater to subjective opinions. “I can’t speak to how someone feels,” he continued. “People can feel different ways about different things, and everyone is entitled to their own feeling, but from a legal perspective, the question really is, was there harassment?”
