Brazen Robber Steals $1,000 from Lower Manhattan TD Bank

A bold robber managed to steal approximately $1,000 from a TD Bank branch in Lower Manhattan during a Monday morning heist, according to police reports.

The incident occurred at the bank located on Chambers Street near Greenwich Street around 9:30 a.m. The suspect entered the bank and discreetly handed a note to the teller, authorities stated.

After receiving the money, the robber fled the scene on foot, escaping with the stolen cash.


A brazen robber passed a note to a Tribeca TD Bank teller Monday morning and managed to flee with about $1,000, cops said. Google Maps

The suspect, described as a man wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, is currently being sought by the NYPD.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the robbery.

Details of the note passed to the teller have not been disclosed by the authorities.
