Melinda French Gates started seeing a therapist in 2014 after her first panic attack during a lunch date with Bill Gates while they were still married. Despite initial doubts, she recognized the benefits of therapy in navigating difficult experiences.
In a separate interview about his book ‘Source Code,’ Bill Gates acknowledged the difficulties of the divorce but expressed that he would still choose to work with Melinda Gates and raise their three children together.
The Gates announced their separation in 2021 after 27 years of marriage, sharing three adult children: Phoebe Gates, Rory Gates, and Jennifer Gates Nassar.
