Google has introduced a new feature called Gemini Live, which is now available for all Android smartphone users. Previously, the feature was only accessible to Pixel 9 and Samsung Galaxy S25 owners. However, Google has now made it free for all Android users with the Gemini app.

Gemini Live with camera and screen sharing allows users to utilize Google’s Gemini AI by using the phone’s camera to show what they are looking at or share their screen. This feature enables users to ask questions or seek advice about the objects in view. For example, in Google’s demo video, a woman at an aquarium uses her Pixel phone’s camera to capture a shark and asks Gemini “what kind of shark is that?” The AI assistant promptly provides information about the shark.

Furthermore, the user is able to switch to another subject in the tank and inquire about it without any interruption. This seamless transition showcases the capabilities of Gemini Live with camera and screen sharing.

With the expansion of this feature to all Android users, more people will have the opportunity to experience this innovative technology through the Gemini app. Google’s decision to make Gemini Live freely available to a wider audience reflects their commitment to providing accessible and cutting-edge features to Android users.

Overall, Gemini Live with camera and screen sharing is a unique and exciting addition to the Android ecosystem. Users can now explore the world around them with the help of Google’s advanced AI technology, making their smartphone experience more interactive and engaging.
